Tonight when we were on a walk, the girls discovered their shadows. We were walking along and Grace saw some tree branch shadows waving on the sidewalk and said, "what is that?!" So I taught them about shadows, and it was so cute seeing them learn about it. They took turns showing different things their shadows- their dresses, a flower, their hands... Then when we went home, Camille said, "follow me, shadow!" and that's what they said the whole way home.
When we got home, we had to keep finding their shadows all over the place (tricky with so many lights) until we said, "good night, shadow!"
