Zhu Zhu's Singing in the Trees

During sacrament meeting today, we got to sit in front of our good friends.  They have 3 kids, like us, and their dad sits on the stand with our dad.  So we single moms tough it out with our kids for a while.  It's kind of a rough job keeping kids quiet and try to be reverent during sacrament meeting, and today my friend's attempts were foiled by a zhu zhu pet that one of her kids had snuck into their church bag.  It started making its delightful chirping noises in the middle of the sacrament.  My friend did all that she could to muffle the sound, and I think that she was pretty successful.  It was funny later when the first speaker, who was visiting our ward, commented about the peaceful quiet sacrament that we had just had.  She said that it was so quiet that she could hear birds outside the open window.  I'm pretty sure that it was just the zhu zhu pet.

Oh yeah- in reading the internet, I just discovered that to quiet your zhu zhu pet, you simply press the back button twice.  Good to know.

Nothing heard from a few rows back. :) Love the Zhu Zhu pet's escape to Sacrament Meeting. You guys are awesome.

I would second that. Didn't hear a peep, except maybe Clark getting excited about a drink. But that's REALLY cute.

Good tip. Hopefully, though, I'll never have to remember how to quiet those creatures as I intend to keep them from Warren's knowledge. Otherwise, I'm sure we'd have a similar Sacrament Meeting story...
