Money Laundering

Tonight after buying something at the store, Grace went to pay back her dad, only to find that her money was covered in mold. I just spent the last half hour washing Grace's life savings- about $120- in bleachy water, which at the end was filed with mold spores.

Parenting is filled with situations that I would never expect to find myself doing. I don't always like the weird things, but often the accidents are "happy accidents".  And if nothing else, they make things cleaner in the end.  This currency is the cleanest it's ever going to be. All of the spilled milk makes my floor awfully clean in the end.  And the highlighter that I scrubbed off of the walls and sofa the other day ultimately led to cleaner walls and sofa.  Hoorah for mess!
